Everything was excellent, the room, staff and location. I asked for a kettle in my room which was waiting when I arrived. The breakfast was very nice too.

A lovely relaxing hotel in a beautiful garden and woods location. Easy walk to the lake and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent. The staff are very helpful too. Room very well equipped and spacious. We shall come again!!! What a find!

Comfort of the facilities and friendliness of staff

I liked this hotel a lot but the sun was shining, I'm not sure there were many in-hotel facilities if it had rained though but it didn't so all was good. Thought the hotel was lovely, particularly the bedroom which was a single room. The lobby was a little bit outdated, but this did not matter. The views of the lake from the restaurant and my room were stunning. Great setting.

A great place to stay. The restaurant is friendly and the food is excellent. The room itself is spacious and comfortable. The hotel is in an school so it does has a school feel about when walking about.

Lovely hotel with a fantastic kitchen, in a nice little town. The ice cream cafe across the road is a bonus. We stop here on our way to/from Scandinavia, fourth time this year.

Clean room. Central location. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars within walking distance.
