What about shower gel / shampoo amenities ?

I had a good sleep in room 102. Rooms around mine was not occupied. No shower gel and shampoo. I don't see anything about in the hotels.com amenities description. Why did you lie? It never happened so far. You think you paid online but you have to pay again to check out. Parking and breakfast are included. Unfortunately, I didn't try sauna. It was off.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt über Ostern. Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen und als Gast bekommt man zwei Karten mit denen man einige Nahverkehrsmittel kostenfrei nutzen kann. Wir waren zum wandern dort und sind bei schlechtem Wetter kostenlos mit der Bahn nach Dresden gefahren. Alles in allem eine sehr schöne Unterkunft. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ebenfalls super.

Dejligt ophold

Hotellet kan bestemt anbefales. Sengen var meget komfortable og bruseren mega god. Et plus at der var køleskab på værelset, så man kunne have kolde flasker med på vandreturen. Personalet var venlige og hjælpsomme, og der er rigtig lækker morgenmad, hvor du kan vælge mellem mange ting.

Man kunne desværre ikke spise aftensmad på hotellet, og det var ikke så nemt at finde en restaurant i nærheden, så vi valgte at købe brød o.s.v. i en lokal Lidel.

Ein tolles Hotel

Wir haben selten so ein tolles Hotel in der Garni-Klasse besucht. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Service, Sauberkeit und Frühstück hervorragend. Die Zimmer liebevoll und modern eingerichtet. Man fühlte sich sofort zu Hause und willkommen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Zimmer und Räumlichkeiten sehr sauber und gepflegt. Zimmer etwas klein aber vollständig ausgestattet und modern gestaltet. Angenehm: Kleine Saunalandschaft. Frühstück abwechslungsreich und reichhaltig - wurde auch stetig nachgefüllt.

Nette Mitarbeiter, schöne Lage, allerdings war das Zimmer ohne jeglichen Ausblick und etwas klein (ungünstiger Bettrahmen, so konnte man sich nicht aus das Bett setzten um z.B. Fernsehen zu schauen). Trotzdem unbedingt zu empfehlen und gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Die Unterkunft war gut. Was uns nicht so gefallen hat ist, dass das Hotel selbst außer Frühstück keine weiteren Malzeiten anbietet und im näheren Umfeld kaum ein Restaurant zu finden war. Wir sind am 26.12. angereist und hatten arge Schwierigkeiten abends etwas zu Essen zu bekommen. Wir hatten bis zum 29.12. gebucht. Meine Frau erlitt am 27.12. einen Hexenschuss. Nach dem Frühstück am 28.12. entschieden wir uns zur Rückfahrt, es ging einfach nicht mehr. Sehr befremdend empfanden wir die Reaktion der Geschäftsführung, die auf Biegen und Brechen auf die Erstattung von Storno Gebühren für die eine noch ausstehende Übernachtung bestand?

Angenehmes, freundliches Personal und ein tolles Frühstücksangebot machten den Aufenthalt zum Erlebnis! Es war sehr sauber und ausreichend möbliert. Großes Plus - die Gästkarte für Fähr- und Busbezahlung... so lässt man das Auto auch wirklich mal stehen!!! Wir können das Hotel Grundmühle nur empfehlen und freuen uns auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt dort!

We did a week and a half road trip through Germany. This was by far my favorite hotel. The staff was friendly, it was centrally located to much of the Saxon Switzerland Park (includes tickets to most trains and ferries), and the property itself is nice to come back to a relax after a long day of hiking. We enjoyed drinking wine until the stars came out out in the back. Also really clutch is the laundry facilities for use for only around 3 euros (soup included) - making a great mid vacation stop. Highly recommend in this area

Ich war 5 Nächte dort und es wirklich schön. Das Hotel ist super gelegen, direkt vor der Tür ein Bus und auch fußläufig gut erreichbar. Man erhält sogar eine Bus/Bahnkarte inkl. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich, mir wurden viele hilfreiche Wandertipps gegeben. Kleine Kritikpunkte: Keine Möglichkeit dort abends zu essen, daher wäre ein kleiner Kühlschrank und Mini-Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer sehr hilfreich. Das Frühstück war ok, man wurde satt, aber nichts Besonderes. Es gibt einen Föhn, das könnte man auch ruhig in der Beschreibung angeben, ist ja ein Pluspunkt. Ein Ganzkörperspiegel wäre toll, im Badspiegel sieht man außer seinem Gesicht nichts. Das WLAN setzte leider häufig aus, was in der Region ärgerlich ist, da man kaum Netz hat. Fotos vom Wellnessbereich wären toll- es gibt eine Sauna, einen Ruheraum, Fußbad, Duschen.. wirklich schön! Das sollte man zeigen. Kritik: Es kostet 5,50€ extra und man muss bis 11 Uhr Bescheid sagen, wenn man die Sauna am gleichen Tag nutzen will. Fazit: Alles in allem war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ok, die Nettigkeit der Gastgeber macht alles wett. :)

Sehr netter Pansion, perfekter Wanderausgangspunkt

Wir haben es als Ausgangspunkt für unsere Wanderungen rund um Bad Schandau genutzt. Und das hat uns perfekt gelungen. Sowohl mit dem Auto zum Affensteinen oder mit S-Bahn/Fähre (Mit der Gästekarte kostet es nichts :-)) z.B. zur der Festung Königstein ist alles perfekt erreichbar. Der einzige kleine Manko ist: Weil alle anliegende Orte früh morgens Richtung Dresden aufbrechen ist das Schlaffen mit einem offenen Fenster (zwischen 05:00 und 08:00 Uhr Morgens) eine kleine Herausforderung.
