"Great location under ground car park 15euros a night was perfect as we travelled with a motorbike.
Disappointed the spa and sauna hadn’t been completed, we were offered a sister hotels spa services but didn’t see the point.
Breakfast was good, downstairs no restaurant for evening meals although they did offer some kind of local specialties you could try and write on your honesty sheet for drinks and food.
Room was huge and lovely as was bathroom and the balcony was great for views and watching the thunderstorms. Downside was no air con in rooms"
"The hotel was a little dated, but everything was great. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we’ve had. The spa area had everything you needed. The location was right near the town and right on a steam. Be careful about the parking garage. I got a big scratch on my car because there’s a handrail that’s in a bad position."
"I knew what I was buying after reading reviews. The hotel is right in the center of the tourist area and very convenient to all sites. Neat old hotel but modernized and usually ok with no ac. However some of the hottest days This week mid upper eighties so a bit warm at night but I didn’t mind. Quite nights a plus after a busy tourist days. Wonderful staff, great location and breakfast great. I would stay again."
"We had a very pleasant stay at this property. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was excellent fresh, varied, and a great way to start the day. The location is a major highlight: it’s only about 15 minutes by car to Eibsee and Zugspitze, and just 5 minutes to the city center. You can also enjoy a comfortable 15-minute walk into town, and there’s a convenient bus stop right in front of the property.
The room itself offered an amazing view, which really added to the overall experience. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
There are a couple of minor downsides. The pillows were not very comfortable, and the bed was made up of two single beds pushed together rather than a true queen or king. The shower is also on the smaller side, though it’s manageable and the water pressure is good.
Overall, a great stay with a few small areas for improvement."
"The hotel was slightly quirky which we loved. Really clean room and everything you would need and more. We had a family room which was really spacious and had some great features. Breakfast was excellent, really extensive with options for everyone. The parking was fantastic. Others had said it was tight but it was absolutely fine and great use of the space. The staff were really helpful and kind. The location was perfect for all the local sights and the restaurants in the evening. Thank you for a great stay."
"Great location! We had a long wait in the bar for lunch which almost made us miss our tour time, but otherwise the service and food were excellent. The breakfast was great!"
