"The property is in a quiet cul de sac of the village. Note there are street lights in the cul de sac but none in the village. You need a torch. The place was clean. Good sized bathroom. Well equipped kitchen especially if you want to cook for yourself. The cottage is an ideal base for visiting the area with many attractions a short drive away. "There are many excellent things about Mollie’s Bristol: • It’s economical and good value • The reception area is a very welcoming and social space, including a bar and free tea and coffee, desks and comfortable seating • Opening off the reception area, there is a lovely garden courtyard, with tables and chairs and a play area for young people. • The staff are wonderful – always friendly and helpful • The rooms are attractive and the bed and pillows are very comfortable • There are units dispensing free hot and cold water on each floor • The Diner is well designed, with a good, varied menu – and clearly very popular with residents and visitors alike. There’s a couple of shortcomings: • Bizarrely for a relatively new, purpose designed building, there is no guest lift to the first and second floors. So, if you have heavy luggage, make sure to ask for a room on the ground floor • In our bedroom: apart from four hangers, there is nowhere to put cases and content – no desk, no shelves, no cupboards, nowhere to open cases and put clothes, except on the floor. Oddly, in our room, there was plenty of space for a shelving and storage, such as you get in many hotels, even at the budget end, but the floor and wall space was unused. Despite these shortcomings, we would be happy to stay at one of the Mollie's Motel & Diners in UK again."

"The main pro of this hotel is its location. Less than a 2 min walk to the water front, theatre, bars and restaurants. The location is fantastic. The hotel is clean, tidy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel also has a car park, £20 for 24hrs which for Bristol, is good value. PARKING NEEDS TO BE BOOKED WITH THE HOTEL IN ADVANCE - THERE ARE ONLY LIMITED SPACES. Dont try to message them through this app - I tried it and didn’t get a response. Just call the hotel direct. The room is clean and adequate - the other everything you need, but it was fairly empty and basic. It didn’t have the ‘wow’ factor you’d expect from the location, building and reception area. Not really an issue for me, but worth noting. Brekfast was good - the only thing I will comment on is that I asked once of the staff about the ingredients in the sausage (gluten allergy). She said it was gluten free, but then another member of staff overheard and said it wasn’t….. they confirmed in the kitchen that they were gluten free (which was great), but as someone with a food allergy, it doesn’t fill me with confidence when two members of staff say something different. Obviously this won’t be an issue to most people, but one thing from having an allergy is that you need to be confident in what you’re being told - because it could spoil a trip away. Just a small point that I think management could raise with staff - make them aware of ingredients so they can inform customers confidently and correctl"

"Good location -Bed divine - executive room did not include dressing gown and was £10 per person which was not a deposit! Made trip back from pool awkward Air con good , fridge useless-bathroom nice but quite worn looking . Spacious room with nice extras including 2 drinks Wi fi good Didn’t have food , bar only serving wine and beer later on Saturday evening and moved into the lobby. If hospitality are struggling then surprised you are not looking to sell cocktails!"

"On the downside, it was extremely hot inside the corridors and our room, something one of the staff agreed with. The only way to ventilate our room was to use two glasses to hold the sash windows open as they wouldn't stay open on their own. The stairwell decor could do with a freshen up. On the positive side, the room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast good and plentiful. The hotel was perfectly positioned for our event at Sophia Gardens. There were two easily accessible car parks and the staff were very friendly helpful."
