"Hotel is up an amazingly steep mountain with multiple hairpin bends, not for the faint hearted but amazing drive for our Porsche. Hotel son and daughter very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are clean but basic, towels very old.
We struggled with the fixed menu food offering and there is really no where else so you have no choice. Breakfast is very much cake and meats and quite limited. However for the experience of being at the top of a mountain with only cows with bells, it

"A great hotel, clean, freah and modern looking. The room was clean and everything worked, great to see a fridge so you have a cool drink on your balcony. A roof terrace in which to sunbathe and chill. A cozy pool and wellness area. Staff were friendly, helpful and very accommodating. I can’t praise them enough.
Limited parking out front but again staff went out of there way and managed to squeeze my car in.

"For a 3 star hotel, this is top tier. Everything you need, closest to the lake you'll get and the bed has so far been the best during my Italy trip. It is a bit dated, but that's expected and acceptable. The price is moreso the luxury of proximity than facilities. The breakfast was as good as a 5 star hotel. Would go here again if in Malcesine."
