"This is an absolutely lovely hotel with excellent, well furnished, luxurious rooms and it is beautifully presented. Lunch or dinner in the covered courtyard is a must and very well set out and served by attentive, friendly staff. The Tavern was closed on the days we stayed which was disappointing but drinks and snacks were still available in the courtyard. "We chose this hotel due to its very close proximity to the train station. Very convenient for train arrivals. About an easy 15 minute walk from the old walled city centre. The room was smallish but had a very nice bathroom. The front of house staff were very helpfull and friendly. The beds comfortable. Unfortunately, windows dont open and the hvac system only blew warm air. Consequently, the room was very stuffy. So beware. Also there is absolutely no soundproofing. So every plumbing noise,...
