Classy and chic in a super location for shops and the main square

The hotel Garlande is a great little hotel in the heart of Avignon. It is set in a cobbled backstreet close to the Papal Palace. The rooms are nice (we had a 3rd floor family room). It oozes charm and is quaint (we had to climb a spiral staircase to our room). The people running the hotel are amazing and are what makes this a place to defiantly visit. From discussing restaurants (and booking them for us) to advising on Provence places to visit, they couldn't do enough. The breakfasts were great,...

This was one of only 2 lettings at the property, a roomy 2 room suite. It is a period property. Stairs are a little steep. Rooms were charming, with plenty of space and the owner's original artwork around. The owner, Michele, was very helpful and also charming. The location is easy for the sights, such as the Palais des Papes, and a little over 15 minutes walk from the central station. It's on a quiet backstreet, (though we did hear some noisy people about 2 am each night for a few minutes - bit...

Highly recommend this hotel. Beautiful interior and rooms and centrally located. A bit pricey but worth every euro.

Spacious room, friendly service, good value.

We had the family room and was very spacious for us. Room was clean and the staff very friendly. Location was great too. We’d recommend staying here if in Avignon for a few nights like we were. Only improvement we would suggest is a small fridge in the room for drinks but appreciate it wasn’t advertised in the booking but feel it would make a difference.

This place is definitely mignon. It’s pretty small. The reception is like a little Aladdin’s cave. It feels like there are trinkets and stuff all over the place. The room and the bathroom and pretty tiny but very clean. I’m 6’2” and I couldn’t sit on the toilet with the door closed. But I love this place so much. It’s FULL of character and located on a quiet street with lots of lovely shops. I enjoyed lying on the bed with the typical French windows open reading my book while I could hear the...

Lovely hotel in a super location. Clean and comfortable room. Friendly welcome and very helpful staff. Would definitely visit again.

The hotel is delightful. Well situated close to town but with fantastic extensive grounds and two pools. The basic rooms are small and rather dark but the concept is to spend time outside. The bed was really comfortable.
