"This is the best place to stay after busy and loud crowds of the city. Alfonso is the most gracious of hosts and has built a beautiful home with six guest rooms that each have their own bathrooms, all situated around an inner courtyard. "This is the second time my wife and lI have stayed at this hotel in December . The staff are courteous and helpful . The hotel location is great for walking to lots of nearby attractions, getting to and from the airport cheaply by airport bus, getting to the sightseeing tour bus stop or to the Saint Bernard train station ( where we took a day trip to Cadiz from) . There are plenty of restaurants and tapas bars within walking distance too. Our favourite parks and the amazing Plaza d’Espania are all within reasonable walking distance . This time we stayed for 6 days and still could have spent longer exploring this wonderful city "

"We loved this place and thought it was so nice! It had a fridge with a pitcher of cold water. It had a microwave. It had a washer. It was roomy and cute! Here are the reasons we gave it a 4 star. : #1 It is a shared apartment. The bedroom has no mirrors which made it hard to share the bathroom and the only trash can is in the bathroom, which was tiny. #2 The smell. If you have a sensitive sniffer, don’t stay here. There was a strong stink of sewage in the bathroom before we went to bed. We thought it was coming from the toilet, so we closed the bathroom door to keep the smell out. Around 2am, we realized the smell was coming directly from the AC unit in the bedroom! We could not sleep. There was no escaping the smell. We want to leave this property a 5 star review because the communication was great, it was clean, we felt safe, the costumer service was fantastic, but the stench was really bad. 😬"
