The hotel was situated in a lovely area, with walking available along the river and the canal, and a couple of villages close by, containing decent pubs and restaurants. I would stay there again."

"They really need to change the beds and improve the food in the kitchen. Breakfast was better than the evening meal. Not being able to sleep well due to a shockingly poor bed is unacceptable."

"I have stayed at this hotel a few times. The rooms are spacious and always very clean. I find the beds are very comfy. Always have a good night's sleep. Each time I have stayed here it has been very quiet at night, no noise from other residents which is nice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good facilities to use. Nice restaurant and good food. I would highly recommend this hotel."
