"This hotel is comfortable and friendly. Conveniently, there are all meals available with a lovely restaurant and a beautiful garden patio to sit outside. It's also located so you can walk in all directions to tourist sites, shopping, and eateries. I didn't have the right electrical converter and asked the front desk if they had one. They tried but could not find one. They did suggest a nearby shop where I could buy one. The shop would be closed at that time, so I sat down for a glass of wine at the bar. Talking to the bartender, I said I needed a converter. Well, he had one at the bar he would lend to me. Wonderful! And then, the next day, housekeeping also dropped one off. The front desk did not let go of my want; each and every person I talked to worked on my issue. That was so nice!"

"Our stay at Ilum Home Experience Hotel in Buenos Aires from May 12–24 was absolutely unforgettable. We traveled to celebrate our wedding anniversary on May 14, and thanks to the incredible staff, this became one of the most special trips of our lives. We especially want to recognize the amazing front desk team: Matias, Jose, Martina, Denise, Milena, Gonzalo N, and Gonzalo R. Their kindness, professionalism, local recommendations, and genuine care made us feel completely at home. A heartfelt thank you also to Melanie, Melody, the breakfast team, and the chef who prepared the most delicious chicken soup for me upon request. We are also deeply grateful to Debora and the housekeeping team for keeping our room immaculate every single day and always going the extra mile for our comfort. Special thanks to manager Florencia Gonzalez for the thoughtful champagne gift for our anniversary and the beautiful welcome wine courtesy from the hotel and Expedia. The hotel’s location in Palermo Hollywood is another huge highlight. It is one of the best neighborhoods in Buenos Aires—safe, vibrant, beautiful, and surrounded by incredible restaurants and cafés. Ilum Home Experience is no longer just a hotel for us; it is our home in Buenos Aires. We cannot wait to return."

"Puntos extra para el magnifico desayuno, los felicito, hace toda la diferencia!. La ubicacion es buena, no es necesariamente la calle principal en el centro del movimiento pero lo suficientemente caminable para manejarse bien. "This hotel was average, but certainly not to the standards of a 4 star hotel as its advertised. The breakfast was great as other reviews state, but that's the only thing I would rate above average. All of the pictures of this hotel seem to have been taken at least a decade ago and the property has not been maintained well. The rooms were very basic and the bathrooms were a bit grimy. Our shower had rust marks all over the walls (I hope it was rust), and grime all around the caulking. It would also get extremely damp and humid after anyone would shower and the walls and ceilings in the bathroom would drip with moisture for about 10-12 hours after a shower. The pool and outdoor area were also poorly maintained, I certainly would never consider swimming in that pool. If this were rated as a three star hotel I would consider it passable, but rating this hotel as 4 stars makes absolutely no sense to me given the state of the rooms, property, and amenities."
