Highly recommended. We had a junior suite for 3 adults. Hotel recently renovated and beautifully done. The staircase itself looked like a palace staircase. Small issue with the shower, which can be expected when renovations are done - the staff was very accommodating with extra towels being provided until a fix was done when we were out, and extra room tidy. Nice walk to centre of Vienna and opera, as well as close to restaurants for the evening. We couldn't have hoped for a better stay.

Its a very nicely run hotel.We enjoyed our stay alot the staff made it feel special and nothing seemed to much trouble.

Great hotel in great location with great staff. Used as a base for Christmas Markets and it was perfect. Loved every minute of our 3 night stay - but it is quite expensive !

When we arrived at the Imperial Hotel we were expecting grandeur, history and to be impressed with the building itself (all of which are present in abundance). What we also got, most unexpectedly, was the warmest and most sincere welcome from the outstanding staff, from the moment we were greeted at the door to the time we reluctantly had to say ‘farewell’. My partner and I were celebrating his 50th birthday with this special trip and we were absolutely bowled-over with the level of care,...

The staff were all very friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble! Delicious breakfast and great variety on the buffet table. I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family!

I was excited to visit this brand new property as soon as I saw the ad online and it did not fail to impress. Absolutely gorgeous property, inside out. Rooms stylish very comfy and practical as well. Lobby area, cafe restaurant and the new opened bar will definitely be a meeting point for non guests as well. I’d like to note that the building itself adds beauty to the area, which is something that often does not occur. Highly recommended and will definitely be back!

Shops nearby. Comunal coffee area, lounge, all very pleasant. Tram stop just outside to take you to central transport hubs.

Great place, clean and friendly staff

We had a lovely stay at Das Tigra, conveniently located to city centre . The breakfast was excellent .The only unfortunate thing was the Chambermaid staff did not pay attention to detail, eg requested non feather bedding but feather pillows were on the bed, Tea and hair products were not replaced daily.The cleaning of the bathroom was not up to standard. However the front of house staff were very attentive and remedied the issues . I would return if these issues are addressed.

Absolutely a beautiful hotel and the set up of the room was fantastic. Easily accessible from the airport and very close to the city centre . The only thing which I definitely would change are the pillows!! Way too soft 😉

Beautiful period hotel, 10 mins walk from opera house. Really comfortable bed, nice local beer in the mini bar, tea/coffee making. Excellent customer service, they even gave us a complimentary pot of mustard when we checked out! Breakfast was included with a surprisingly excellent range of quality choices, in a pretty dining room. We would definitely stay again.

Traveling to Austria and Vienna for the first time, you have no sense of areas, hotels, etc - so you take a shot in the dark, read online reviews and hope for the best. Hotel Alstadt did not disappoint! Just came from Amsterdam and a splurge at Hotel D L'Europe, we wanted something low key, affordable and cooler. This hotel is all that. Super warm and friendly, great rooms, ASTOUNDING breakfast, included, really nice area, walking distance to everything but not in the middle of everything, so...

Lovely clean hotel with a delightful aroma on entry and helpful, Friendly Staff. Breakfast was excellent and offered a real variety. Main shops a 20 minute walk away.

From check in till check out we had the most enjoyable experience. The staff is very friendly and we got upgraded to a Grand Deluxe Room which was huge. The amenities are of a very high quality. Small details such as a shower with all electronic controls were very sophisticated. Housekeeping ensured a lovely turn down every day. Concierge and reception staff were very friendly and informative.

Very unique. Quirky but functional. Excellent staff and fantastic continental breakfast. Very relaxing stay in a very convenient location.
