"This hotel was unbelievably convenient if you are doing the Norway in a Nutshell. It is steps from the Flam railway and also steps from the boat for the Fjord tour from Flam to Gudvangen. There are also souvenir and clothing shops right there and the Flam visitor center. If you are not driving there are not many options so its also VERY expensive. But for us it was worth the convenience. We ate dinner at the hotel next door - which was very good - so i cannot comment on dinner but the...

"We liked.the peaceful location. It meant a 20 mins bus from Flam but was worth it. Lovely seafood restaurant on the wharf looking down the fjord. Good service and nice seafood."

"Nice and easy walk from both the train station and ferry terminal. Location had fabulous views overlooking the fjord. Meals were very tasty. The staff were wonderful. Paper thin walls and very basic room, although would recommend the Panorama room for the view and with the location, you’re not in your room for very long. However, although nice, felt like it was very overpriced for nearly $900 per night. "
