"Reception lobby was so warm and inviting as were the staff when someone eventually came to the counter, but everything went a bit downhill from that point. A room change was necessary due to a burning smell (faulty microwave). 2nd room had major cleanliness issues in kitchen and lounge area and a broken cooker resulting in our dinner being cooked by the restaurants helpful chef! The freezer was so frozen up the door wouldn’t open! Staff were very apologetic but it marred what has been a lovely day. The Indoor pool had a low waterline and tiles missing. The hotel room in general need some serious TLC. Staff were nice although very few of them. Took a walk down to the beach nearby which was pleasant. "

"More basic rooms with no aircon & a pedestal fan and was very hot when arriving in the afternoon with the sun streaming through the glass. Has heating though for the colder months. Bathroom could do with a refurb. Car park next to the building was open to the roadside area so best not to leave any visible belongings in vehicles. Restaurant for breakfast & dinner was adequate."

"Yes, rolling waves with a wide view-great room. Staff was very helpful-showed us a tunnel leading to rain forest and avoiding walking on highway."

"If you want to be ignored when emailing a complaint, stay in a filthy garden shed with no proper door to the outside and only a padlock to keep it shut, and see other guests’ pubic hair all over the toilet and hair in the shower, this is the place for you! It very clearly hadn’t been cleaned before we arrived as there were squashed dead bugs piled on the floor, walls, and caught in spiderwebs over the windows. The ceiling lampshade had mould spores literally all over it, the curtains looked like they’d been used as a cleaning rag and to wipe up spillages, and to add insult to injury the door was a literal wooden door for a garden shed with absolutely no seal and you could see inside from outside the room. The bugs and mosquitoes had an absolute field day with their free accommodation! Someone had left pubic hair all over the back of the toilet cistern in one of the communal toilets, the shower also had that lovely black mould, and there was hair on the shower and bathroom floor, with the sink having a wonderful finish of dirt inside it. We checked in as reception closed, and left before they opened as we couldn’t sleep due to our little room guests biting us all night, so made sure to document everything and sent a message to the stay as soon as we left. Their internet must be down because after 5 days, they’ve not managed to reply - 10/10 customer service here guys! The manager took the cowardly way out and refused me a refund via hotels.com with no explanation at all. "
