"My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the Groton Inn. After an unfortunate experience at another hotel nearby, the Groton Inn truly saved the day, and I’m so glad we found it.
The property is absolutely beautiful. The landscaping is immaculate, the architecture is charming, and the entire atmosphere is warm, relaxing, and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the live band and festive outdoor gathering—it gave the Inn a wonderful sense of community and made for a memorable evening.
Breakfast was another highlight. The food was fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and included a nice selection of wholesome options without being overwhelming. It was the perfect way to start each day.
Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful, and the Inn itself was exceptionally clean and well maintained.
The only reason I’m not giving a perfect score is the housekeeping schedule. Service was only provided once every three days, and on the day our room was serviced, the bed wasn’t made. Perhaps this is standard for an inn rather than a traditional hotel, but it was the one aspect of our stay that didn’t meet the otherwise excellent experience.
Overall, I would absolutely stay here again and would gladly recommend the Groton Inn to anyone visiting the area. It turned what could have been a stressful trip into a truly enjoyable one."
