This hotel is amazing. It’s a five star hotel and they treat you like a star. Service is incredible! Hotel itself is funky and a little old fashioned. We stayed at the Marina side of it and it’s a bit weird and not modern but you forget about it by the way they take care of you. Beautiful view, pools and spa! Loved the experienced!

Beware when staying here. The AC in rooms is preset at 24 C with the ability to reduce the temp only by up to 3 C....netting out at 21C best case. Generally it did not work so our room was always about 23C, which for my family is too warm. Also the restaurant in evenings is absurdly overpriced and the food not great...they focus more on presentation than taste. The town is great so if you stay here walk to the village to eat.

Was soll man über ein solches Hotel schon sagen. Da stimmt ja von A bis Z in der Regel alles. Da dort auch Menschen arbeiten, kann doch der eine oder andere Fehler passieren und das muss nicht an die grosse Glocke gehängt werden (sind ja Einzelfälle). Der Aufenthalt war auch in diesem Jahr einfach nur goldig. Wir weiterempfehlen dieses Hotelsehr gerne weiter.

Wir reisten als Familie an und wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Check-in war ebenfalls sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war grosszügig mit einem schönen Balkon. Für unseren Hund lag eine Überraschung bereit. Der Wellness Bereich bietet sehr viel und lädt zum verweilen ein. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend und von guter Auswahl / Qualität. Der Kidsclub war perfekt und die Betreuerin sehr nett.

Absolutes Tophotel in Ascona

Das Eden Roc dürfte das beste Hotel am Lago Maggiore sein - jedenfalls war dies unsere Erfahrung. Vom Wellnessbereich bis zu den Restaurants, Zimmer und Strand bleibt nichts zu wünschen übrig. Eine absolute Topaddresse - die allerdings auch ihren Preis hat.

Zimmer mit Bergsicht !!??

Wir waren vor Jahren schon einmal im Eden Roc. Wir buchten wieder im Eden Roc. Zu unserer Ueberraschung waren wir dann nicht im Eden Roc sondern im Marina. Zimmer mit Bergsicht !! Mit Bergsicht dachte ich an den Blick auf die gegenüberliegenden Berge. Wir logierten im untersten Geschoss,(Zimmer 5) davor ein grosser Parkplatz und über den Sträuchern und Bäumen konnte man knapp einen Hügel sehen. Zum Morgenessen hatte man einen Marsch von beinahe einem halben Kilometer zu absolvieren (mit Jahrgang 1933 !!) Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war in jeder Beziehung okay, würden uns bei einer zukünftigen Buchung vorher besser informieren lassen.
