"It was disappointing that the continental breakfast was not a continental breakfast only oatmeal, cereals, milk, and coffee. I expected a lot more. Not so much that I expected a lot more. I expected better like it previous hotels that I have stayed at that have breakfast included, and they have eggs and bacon and all that good stuff. "

"The check-in staff member charged me $25 for an early check-in. I told him I thought check-in was 2:00 and he said check-in was 3:00. I had to get ready so I paid the $25, went to my room and confirmed it was 2:00 on my confirmation email. Thankfully another staff member reimbursed my $25 when I went back to the front desk later that day. "

"For the price paid, this hotel was great. We just stopped for a night after picking up our wine club orders. My son was happy to spend some time in the pool, my husband was happy with the wood (non-carpet) floors, I was happy with the toiletries provided. Check-in and check-out were both really pleasant and quick. We've spent twice+ the price at boutique hotels that did not have a pool and typical standard front desk service. Location was great, not walking distance but a very short drive to anywhere we needed to go. "

"The adjacent restaurant wasn’t worth a 2nd meal/visit. Compared to the Best Western Plus at Irvine Spectrum, the Santa Barbara BW+ leaves a lot to be desired. Tiny, cramped room vs 2 queen beds and a sitting/living room. "

"Staff were very accommodating. Room temperature was problematic due to air handling systems that did not provide a way to easily have air movement. It was unseasonably warm and the room became quite stuffy. Lots of lovely places to sit outside and on covered porches. Nice continental breakfast provided each morning."

"Pet friendly environment and attentive staff. Room sizing is way smaller than pictured. Could have been a bit more clean, although the rooms are dog-friendly, but there was stains all over the walls underneath the desk and near coffee maker. "
