"The view is superb. Very direct magnificent view of Mount Kinabalu. But the aceess into the resort (2km) is not proper tar road. The room is basic with all the necessary amenities and clean. "We stayed here for one night while exploring the local area. Overall the experience was good, the room was comfortable and the location is convenient. But this is a very basic accommodation, and the bathroom was in need of some repair. The owner and family were very helpful and accommodating, and in general the people in this area are very nice. This is a great location for views of Mt Kinabalu, and for local hikes, and also for visiting the Desa Dairy Farm."

"Booked for Queen Bed Room at ground floor for RM239 (before discount). Few times stay at Rose Cabin since 2004. But this time too much difference...a bit run down. It's over priced for the facilities provided. Even spacious room, but no TV, no fan (so stuffy), toilet inside the room with no toiletries, bathroom (hot shower) is outside of the room at the veranda (no privacy) with very little all in one shampoo. Nothing much to do here. Check in/out counter only open from 8am till 8pm. After that...
