It's Glamping but without much of the glamour. Interesting place to stay and good value with the breakfast. It could be so much more though.

Very Disappointed
I misread that this were not just twin beds, but twin bunk beds. We were traveling with 80+ year old parents who could not get into a top bunk bed and it appeared all the rooms only had bunk beds. We arrived at 5:45 PM and there was no one there to talk to. There was another couple who were guests and they said there were two rooms with keys in the door so they must be our rooms, but the owners would not be back until 8:00 am. This is not very good service if you ask me either. This place is is the middle of nowhere. It was a warm evening, the train was very hot and stuffy and there was no air conditioning and the rooms only had one window in each and the other guests said the windows only opened about 2 inches. Our parents also need to have air circulating/good ventilation or they have a hard time breathing. Needless to say we could not stay at this property so we had to go into Arjang and get rooms at the Hotel Arjang which were excellent beds with air conditioning and breakfast. Very upsetting to rent two rooms and pay for them and then finding out the place was not acceptable to stay at. Would not recommend.

Sovvagn i mysig miljö
Mysigt ställe med mycket trevlig personal. En tågkupé är alltid trång så det går inte att förvänta sig något annat. Lyhört tills alla somnat. Men otroligt charmigt. Sängen var skön och priset var mer än rimligt.

Utmärkt boende till liten kostnad. Bästa hotell frukosten! Skall ni spela Årjängs GK så är det ett utmärkt boende. Fortsätt sedan till Kongsvinger GK och spela ytterligare en bana ritad av Peter Nordwall.

Fint å bo i et tog
En artig opplevelse å ligge i ei togvogn! Fint at det var toalett og bad på rommet. Frokosten var fin. Men det var vanskelig å finne hotellet. Ikke et eneste skilt var det hvor det sto Tågvagnshotellet, ikke engang på selve hotellet! Vi måtte spørre flere personer før vi fant fram. Det burde også opplyses om hvilken avkjøring vi burde bruke fra riksveien

Außergewöhnliches Eisenbahnhotel
Sehr nettes kleines Hotel in Sillerud. Man schläft in Eisenbahnschlafabteilen. Die 1. Klasse Abteile haben ein eigenes Bad mit Dusche. Die 2. Klasse Abteile teilen sich ein WC. Das Frühstück gibt es in einem wunderschönen Boutique Café mit reichhaltigen schwedischen Frühstücks Ingedienzen. Alles sehr nett und liebevoll....und die Übernachtung in einem Wagonabteil ist ja sowieso ein kleines Highlight auf der Durchreise.

sjarmerende natt.
Fantasstisk service, men å sove i en sort togvogn på sommeren er varmt. Men personalet har virkelig gjort sitt for å kjøle ned, vifter på alle lugarer og aircon i gangen. Frokost og service var generelt helt fantastisk!!!!

Det är trångt! Små hytter. Saknar att man inte kan höra när man susar fram över rälsen! Borde varit som valbar radiostation vid varje sängplats. Boendet är dock mysigt och tycker man om SJs gamla sovkupé är detta mycket bra!!
