This delightful old property in the countryside, with a welcoming host, diner was served in the garden & breakfast was very satisfying. We only stayed the one night while en-route through France, but could have stayed longer.

We had a lovely overnight stay en route to the south of France. We arrived quite late as we had been at Puy Du Fou during the day, but communication was easy with the lovely host. We received a very warm welcome and were shown to our enormous family suite. The hotel is in a quiet location away from the centre of town, which was exactly what we wanted, but town is just a short car ride if you need anything there. It's just a short dive into Saumur and is close to all the Loire valley attractions. We were shown to a good sized room on the ground floor overlooking a large well kept garden with a nice pond. Loved every minute of our stay, room was big and bathroom clean, pool was a nice touch with the weather being so warm, staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast but I'm sure it was just as amazing as the hotel. Location was closed enough to the centre but not too close.

A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. Beautiful unique property in the centre of Medieval Airvault .Coffee machine and kettle in the room for tea and a little cake was supplied along with a new fan which was much needed and appreciated due to the extreme temperature during our stay. Lovely continental breakfast. Would recommend.

We stayed here a few years ago as their first customer, and now we have stayed again—nothing has changed; it is just as perfect as it was before. The room is comfortable and cozy, with everything you need and beautifully decorated. The owner prepared the best breakfast of all the accommodations we’ve ever stayed at, even compared to five-star hotels.
