Room was clean and staff were nice. Restaurant was a good plus especially w $25 voucher. Just wish they didn’t charge over$40 for parking. Decided to park on the street instead and had to walk a block in the rain with all my luggage then up a bunch of stairs. Other than that it’s a great place

The room was clean but the queen bed seemed smaller somehow. Good luck in the shower if you're a bigger person because it's tiny and very slippery and ours was very slow draining. The provided coffee maker didn't work. I had to program the tv myself since it got no channels. No power at the bathroom vanity outlet. Staff seemed friendly but very scattered brains maybe because it was NYE. The hotel should really consider providing umbrellas for the staff working out in the rain. Although the lobby carpet looks dirty and the place a bit dingy there was not one bad smell or trash anywhere. The location is great.

The hotel is in a great location in the gaslamp section of San Diego.
The staff was very friendly and personable. We did eat in the restaurant and the service was slow. The waiter did not hide the fact the kitchen was slow and did apologize many times.
The room was our concern. It was very small and tight. The bathroom was very oversize. There was a huge jacuzzi tub in the bathroom which made it difficult to get in and out. Also the faucet was barely dripping water. Also, the fridge didn't keep water cold.
Overall thoughts were not all negative. I'd stay again but request a different room to accommodate us and pick a different shower set up.
