"This is a small town in Italy away from everything. 4 hours and 2 trains from Rome. This bed and breakfast (coffee and croissant in the Centrale Bar in the piazza below) may be one of only a few places here to stay. They have no fast food chains in this town of about 12,000 but it is a slice of Italy that hasn't changed much in the last 50 years. The accommodations were very good but there is no staff onsite. "Very gorgeous & upscale hotel. All marble floors, chandeliers & an EXCELLENT location to the church. Very friendly service. There wouldn’t be another hotel that could beat this. The woodwork at the check in was so ornate & stunning. I even bought an oil painting on canvas of Padre Pio from a famous artist that were for sale in the lobby. "
