"The Hotel De La Ville Avellino is a good choice if staying in Avellino. A 15 minute walk from Hotel thru the main street and square is easy, with many restaurant choices. Rooms clean, beds firm/ comfortable, bathroom updated -- all workable and fine. AirCond is so-so, but can open windows in cool evenings. Front desk staff very helpful and responsive"

"The property is older and needs some updating and repairs, but the staff was lovely, the food was fine for the price. The bed was okay, but certainly could have used a new mattress and the bed covering was ancient. Nevertheless, the room was a good size, the bathroom was large with a good shower, and it was clean. I would stay here again."

"All facilities were closed at the hotel and areas around the hotel were full of broken bricks. The fountain was not working and completely in disarray. Breakfast was really poor. No tea/coffee facility and we had to ask for food to be brought out. This is definitely not a four star hotel. "I should start by saying I never planned to stay at this hotel. Our flight was delayed overnight & we had a last minute panic looking for hotels late in the evening. I feel like we had won the lottery when we had booked this hotel & got to see in the light of day what a beautiful space we were in. We arrived at the hotel very late - 11:45pm.
