Good value for money, given the limited accommodation options available in Apeldoorn. The bed and the TV were both great, the staff very friendly, the only downside is the shower’s heater didn’t work properly. The water kept on switching from warm to cold mid shower.
This hotel was very nice, but we couldn’t sleep. We paid more for a balcony room and heard a fairly loud thumping noise coming from the heating vent area all night, which kept us totally awake. We finally, after many hours, decided the noise must be coming from the heating pipe for the window radiator— we had turned on the radiator just before bed because it was rather chilly — so we turned off the radiator. When the woman at the desk asked us the next morning how everything was, we complained about the noise and how it had gone on all night — she answered flippantly— “Oh, it was probably just your neighbors!”
Excellent hotel set in a beautiful neighbourhood. Very friendly and helpful staff. Extra bonus for us was the lovely infinity indoor swimming pool set in the roof. Positioned in walking distance of the Palace Het Loo and an easy drive to Arnhem and Deventer. Highly recommend.
De kamer kan wel een upgrading gebruiken. De haarfohn werkte niet naar behoren: was binnen 20 seconden oververhif, viel dan uit, moest 5 minuten afkoelen en was dan weer binnen 20 sevonden oververhit etc
Superb venue in Apeldoorn.
Clearly spent a huge amount recently updating all of the front of house and bar / restaurant area which is modern and very comfortable.
Rooms are large and well appointed with huge comfortable beds and fridges to keep your own beers cool !!
The hotel is clean but very outdated. There are no king bedrooms. The bathrooms look at least 50 years old.

Hotel absolutely fine apart from the basin lacking a plug. Hotel staff really good. Excellent breakfast. However, there appeared to be an attached eateries accessed directly from the hotel called Cafe Rosa which we assumed was where an evening meal was taken. Only later did we find out it was a cash-only operation which meant one of us walking to a local bank to obtain the necessary cash. Staff took very little interest in us and the order and food took ages. One particular young lady was surly to the point of being rude. A rather unhappy experience throughout.
Hotel was dated (aside from public areas) and the bedroom was falling apart. Bathroom was especially dirty and damaged.

Our stay was great from start to finish. The staff at the front desk were friendly and very helpful in English. The room was large, comfortable and clean with all amenities you could want on a trip like this. We had a balcony and that was a highlight, leaving the door open at night to hear the wind rustling through the trees.
The hotel has a restaurant attached and it is beyond fantastic. The food (dinner in our case) is exceptional by any standards, with fantastic service and a bill that's smaller than you'd expect for such quality.
Bike rental is a bit on the high site (12.50 euro per day), so if you're coming in via train and public transport you might want to rent an OV Fiets at the station, cycle to the hotel (10 to 15 minute cycle) and return the Fiets when you leave Apeldoorn.
The hotel was fabulous..
Clean and spacious..
Bkfast was standard and could suggest to have a hot egg station..
However, quite a distance away from the town centre..
Clean and cosy hotel with the necessary facilities to make your stay sufficient. Nice swimming pool with sauna facilities and basic gym equipment. About 20min walk to the city center. Breakfast not too much of variety for pricing. Room facilities good and well kept.
We love this place, its not our first stay here. The hotel staff are probably the best feature, very helpful and always available. The hotel rooms are large and in good condition considering the age of the hotel. Definitely will stay here again!

Nice, clean hotel convenient to Het Loo Palace; decent restaurant.
Very enjoyable stay. Great staff, excellent restaurant, top class service and always with a (real) smile. The Hoge Veluwe Park is very close by and well worth visiting too but allow at least a half-day for the Kroller-Muller museum which has something for everyone.

Nice hotel situated close to Paleis Het Loo. Great service and nice facilities on the ground floor. The rooms including the bath definitely needs to be upgraded to meet a four star standard.

Stark contrast
Whilst the area, outside, and in reception/bar were very nice, the room by contrast was bland, and due a repair job or too.
The bed was sufficiently comfortable, though you needed to be aware of the overhanging shelf.
CONS: Maids did not change sheets once in 2 weeks, towels weren't always changed, hotel dining was very expensive, gym was sub par, and they would not provide a microwave.
PROS: Parking was free, pool was refreshing, breakfast was amazing, bike rental was very convenient, staff was very helpful and always cheerful, and it was next to the beautiful Het Loo palace.
Don't plan on staying here unless you want to pay 15 euros for breakfast. The breakfast was great but 15 euros? Ridiculous and there is nowhere else nearby to eat unless you want to drive into town.
Friendly staff , good size rooms, quick check in , ample parking . Bar staff helpful . English very good

Great location!
A very reasonably priced hotel in a great location. The hotel is not new, but has been extremely well maintained for its age. In fact, its age adds all the charm. Bathrooms are not to go back for - but an extremely comfortable bed!
