I just returned from a 9 night stay avdchete are my observations: The hotel is very centrally located and just seconds away from the beach and the main bars and restaurants. It has good sound proofing so no disruption to sleep or rest. They have backup power generators so no disruption to air conditioning, hot water etc. There are lots of stray dogs around but they don't bother you. The area felt safe but Blue Velvet has 24 hour security for peace of mind. The restaurant staff are great...

It is off the beaten track surrounded by beautiful gardens and highly perfumed flowers, a small hotel, it is secluded and very private but will all the requirements you need. Food is excellent, all kinds of facilities are available you only have to ask. It has a secluded private beach, a small infinity pool overlooking the sea. Scuba diving is amazing and local tours are amazing.

our experience from check-in to check out exceeded our expectations even though we’d read all the great reviews from previous visitors. On arrive we were met by the owner warm friendly informal checkin we were taken to our room right on the beach perfect tranquil views of the bay. This hotel is a true paradise. I cannot recommend highly enough. Everything and everyone were perfect and I will definitely be looking to return in the near future

Beautiful hotel. Very quiet and calm. Lovely pool to cool off in - not deep enough for proper swimming. Excellent food and wine. Great breakfast buffet. Gym.

The staff were very attentive and helpful, the pool was quiet and relaxing, the cabin had fantastic views and was very clean.

Lovely hotel, lovely pool area, owners very friendly snd welcoming.

Centrally located with good pool area. Rooms are large but are corporate in styling and bathrooms slightly old. Friendly helpful staff and good breakfast.

Clean room

The room is very clean, the staff are attentive, and the 3 pools add to the beautiful experience. We had a pool side room which I recommend highly.
