"Afroditi was an amazing host, we had such a wonderful time staying with her in Agia Effimia. We were welcomed, shown around our room and given detailed recommendations of things to do on the island. The room was beautiful, immaculately clean and had a fantastic view of the marina. Her son, Gregory also has a fantastic cafe on the front with a discount for guests staying at the Ionian suites - the food was great. We had a lovely time, and we will definitely be back. "A lovely hotel with fantastic, friendly staff and a great location - if you have a car you can get to almost anywhere on the island in approx. one hour. Also close to Sami main town - about a 15 minute walk along the coastal path where there are lots of nice restaurants"

"A fantastic villa in a beautiful setting, the back drop has the wow factor!! Very well managed, Rosana is there for anything you need from booking excursions to taxi’s etc, she also owns a restaurant down in Sami be sure to check it out for brunches & evening cocktails! Maria is the daily maintenance lady & she is lovely too very good at keeping the place in order and always made us laugh. So glad we found this place & we will definitely return."

"As soon as I arrived they knew my name. They take great pride in their apartments and it shows. The room was spotless and the pictures don't do them justice when it comes to the overall look and feel. The breakfast was also very good value for money and the restaurant by the pool was a lovely quiet spot in the morning to enjoy it. I would recommend this place to anyone and would happily stay again in a heartbeat. A real gem. "

"I have stayed at Alexatos several times and will do so again if I come to Agia. The apartments are comfortable clean and quiet, very close to the centre but set back, so almost no traffic and very quiet at night. Mirka, Demetrios and Steven are wonderful hosts and make you feel very welcome - they even helped me with some trouble with my rental car. "
