The hotel was lovely and central to all amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was excellent. Would go back again if we were in the area.
Nice hotel right in heart of Kaleici. Has a nice pool. Good breakfast. Hassan and Maria very attentive and helpful. Close to everything. Really relaxing stay, thank you.
I chose this hotel for its prime location right in the heart of Old City. I knew it was a budget hotel but I expected basic amenities.
As soon as I checked in I saw that the toilet seat was broken, the coffee machine was dirty, there was no coffee or tea packets, there was no bath soap and the room generally needed cleaning. I had to get soap from the other rooms since no one was around to ask.
I assumed this was because I checked in early and that they would fix everything.
Nothing was fixed and I left for the day assuming they would take care of it.
By the next day nothing had been done and when I came back after a day of touring, I was livid. By now I had noticed that I was being treated differently and even the check-in process had seemed like a bother.
I finally confronted management who seemed surprised even shocked that I demanded better service. I confronted them about their racial treatment and told them that my race should have nothing to do with the service they provide- it should be excellent for ALL people.
They apologized but the damage was done.
In contrast, the adjoining coffee shop owner was fantastic and welcoming even though I didn’t end up patronizing his shop.
There are lots more closer hotels and I CANNOT recommend this one especially for people of color.
I didn’t however let this ruin my visit and Old City is a must visit, so much to see, do and just enjoy.
A very nice room in what feels like a historic building. A great pool and breakfast too. The only negative is that it is in a noisier location with music.

This family run hotel is lovely. The owner is a very nice man. Turkish breakfast by the pool very good. Close to everything, A little more lighting in the room is needed and maybe a few more pool loungers.
Would highly recommend.
Very cute butique hotel situated within Kaleici, central to everywhere. Rooms are large with high ceilings. Breakfast is very good. This hotel has a pool (very few do), so it is a big plus in the summer.
Wonderful oasis in the middle of Antalya old town. You’ve got plenty of bars and restaurants just on the doorstep. Rooms are very quirky with exposed brick, gives a nice old feeling without being outdated.
When we checked in we were met by the lovely general manager who showed us to our room.
The breakfast was Turkish style and very delicious.
My partner and I are already planning our next stay here.
This is a fantastic hotel, located in the heart of old town with plenty of attractions/shopping/dining nearby and walkable to the harbor and beaches. The hotel is a historical building with an old-world charm, high ceilings and wooden beams.
Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The pool is a really nice added touch. Breakfast was plentiful. The owners were very nice and helpful, and flexible with check-in times.
Overall this is a fantastic hotel with great value for money. I highly recommend Giges for anyone who’s looking to stay in Antalya.
The property and staff are very welcoming, however the noise level at night is very loud. If you plan to be out until 2am or later this is the place for you, if you go to bed early you will have a hard time sleeping.
Pros: Beautiful place in a central location with lots to see in the old city. Good size rooms and comfortable beds.
Cons: I didn’t realize how noisy it would be. Music from the bars doesn’t stop till midnight, and the mosque is right outside the building so you will hear prayers around 6AM.
WE stayed at this property for a week and it was so hard for us to leave. Property owners Can (Jan) and Hassan were extremely accommodating, flexible at check in and check out and throughout the stay, and very welcoming. We felt home during our stay. Sarah prepared delicious traditional turkish breakfasts with authentic turkish touch. Hotel location is very convenient and lively; centrally located within the old city and a short walking distance to all the attractions: the port, the market, archeological sites, bazars, swimming beaches, municipality parks, entertainment and variety of restaurants.

Nice place on the main walking street, off street parking convenient , nice pool aria and room nice
A bit of noise from the Main Street as to be expected, no hot water for shower in the morning not so good. Also they have the jug , and cups but no coffee or tea !
Breakfast basic but ok , eat around the pool great in nice weather, not so good in rain
Nice hotel in a great location, but during check-in incredible chaos, we had 2 rooms booked, the receptionist told us that he could only see 1 room in the system. After endless haggling with the manager we started looking for a second room in nearby hotels, when after a few hours of stress we finally found and paid for a spare room in another hotel, the receptionist found our reservation saying his system had been updated and our second room was suddenly available!!! So we lost several hours of time and had to split our family up and stay in two hotels.
This is a very nice property, and the owners are lovely.
Unfortunately it’s VERY NOISY. It starts with the mosque loud speakers next door at 0600hrs, then the pedestrians start chatting outside your window all day, the taxis park right outside with their radios blaring, but worst of all, there’s a live music bar 20m away and it’s so loud you may as well be in the bar. I honestly don’t know how they are allowed to do it in a residential area. The music starts at 1700hrs and stops at midnight.
We had to use ear plugs to try and sleep, and my wife usually can sleep anywhere!
A nice property, but be warned, it’s slap bang in the middle of the busy tourist street.
If you want peace and quiet this is not the place for you.
We liked the old charm of the building with lots of potentials. Rooms were spacious but our bathroom was tiny.
We didn't like how they kept the rooms. They were disorganized - we didn't have room service for the first two days and we got only after telling them. Bathroom was not clean when we arrived and wasn't cleaned once during our stay.
The stuff was friendly but very unprofessional. Our opinion is that they were understaffed. They are not trained for this type of service. Breakfast was very uniform and too simple for a long stay.

Terrible experience
Arrived at the hotel around 8:30pm (late flight), and the hotel doors were all closed. Didn’t have a phone so had to ask a taxi driver to call the number on the door. The owner said he would be there in about 4 minutes but kept us waiting in the cold for 35 minutes. I asked someone again to call and finally he showed up, was rude and didn’t even apologize. Showed us to our room and give us two keys, one for the room and one for the building as we were the only guests in the hotel. Then he left. There was no manager/owner or reception available after 8pm everyday. The breakfast was poor and should be avoided. There are nice places that offer great breakfast with 5 minutes walk. I wanted to cancel but hotel.com support told me I couldn’t cancel once I checked-in and I may not be able to get a refund. So, I had to stay the 4 nights.

Hadde to dager der.
Det positive:
- lite, stille hotell innvendig
- fint basseng
