"Not fully open. Not advised on the app. Therefore breakfast is served at a later hour and to the room with not many options. 2 days I had no water to shower or brush my teeth in the morning, no warning offered by the hotel. They keep a diposit. Also not advised in the app, don’t appreciate that. It’s a great concep hotel and food at the restaurant was good. Nothing is in any other language other than local. Wish it was managed differently."

"Short walk to the local shops. Lots of parking spaces never s struggle to get a space. Tehre was a wheelchair ramp up to the hotel reception. A 10 pin bowling alley shares the car park. It had a secure bicycle lock dedicated building, accessible with your room key card."

"Lovely Dutch pastoral setting where the hosts make you feel very welcome, and go out of their way to help you. We can honestly say that this was one of the best B and Bs at which we have ever stayed. "

"We were welcomed by friendly staff in a beautiful medieval house. The restaurant and breakfast room are located in this ‘castle.’ The rooms are located across the street in a new-fangled room complex. The rooms are modern and functionally furnished. Unfortunately, there was a lack of maintenance of the rooms; the shower floor and chairs are damaged. All this should not spoil the fun, but that is not what you expect from a (Fletcher) hotel. "We stayed here for 4 nights with our 2 boys. We were recommended this place from a friend and it was perfect. We cycled every day and found some beautiful spots. We used the facilities for swimming and a drink at the bar. It was extremely quiet which was lovely"

"Peaceful Family Stay in Nature We really enjoyed our stay at EuroParcs Ruinen as a family of three (two adults and one child). The park is quiet, clean, and surrounded by beautiful nature — perfect for a peaceful break from city life. Our accommodation was modern and comfortable, with very good internet, which was a nice surprise in such a natural setting. The staff was friendly, and everything was easy to navigate. One thing that was a bit unusual (but good to know in advance) — towels and toiletries aren’t provided, so be sure to bring your own. That said, once we were settled in, everything felt cozy and relaxed. A great place to unwind, explore the outdoors, and enjoy quality family time. We would happily return! "

"Returning customer as i like this hotel and convenient for my purposes. However on this occasion there were noisy next room residents late at nught and this was followed by staff stacking bottles and crates almost underneath my room or so it seemed - then 2 other loud crash noises some time after midnight - a disturbed nights sleep - hope for better next visit."

"A great place to stay if you have to be in Assen. It's in an almost perfect location in the city center. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best I've had, and the restaurant was also excellent. If you arrive or depart on a Wednesday or Saturday, be aware that there is a wonderful local market in front of the hotel.on those days. If you need to take a taxi on those days, the taxi will pick you up / drop you off at the end of the street (about 200 meters from the hotel entrance)."
