"Virkelig dejligt sted for os som børnefamilie*, hvor der var god plads og ro på gangene (også), og mulighed for at bruge noget af tiden på at spille pool, bordfodbold osv. Det ligger lidt langt væk fra Århus, men det tar (relativt) kort tid i bilen. Vi prøvede ikke bussen, men hvis/når vi vender tilbage, gør vi formodentlig det, så vi slipper for at lede efter parkeringsplads osv. inde i Århus. Samlet set super base for at udforske området. *og uden tvivl andre - vi så gæster i alle aldersgrupper, som virkelig så ud til at hygge sig, godt hjulpet af det imødekommende personale."

"Great location, quiet, close to shops. However no reception staff on duty at 3pm on a weekday. We locked ourselves out of our room tried to contact thrm by phone and email. No response. Luckily a fellow guest helped us. Also a group of youths were accessing the secure property without authorisation. Reported this the next day, they said they knew about it, but obviously hadnt taken too many steps to fix the issue, which was a little unsettling"

"A very nice stay in Silkeborg. Lovely helpful staff at check-in. Nice and spacious suite 9 in the old building. I wouldn’t choose a room in the main building which has the feeling still of an old hospital in the corridors. The hotel has a very nice garden setting and peaceful location just outside the city centre and close to a beautiful lakeside swimming area. Easy parking onsite. Lovely lounge and bar area with board games for evening relaxing and nice breakfast room with outside over the gardens. Included breakfast was good but only available until 9:30am. Restaurant onsite is ok but expensive. Would stay again and recommend if booking the high tier room type."

"Great location for this historic hotel. Although there is parking behind the hotel it is not included in the room price and is expensive. The breakfast buffet was average. They ran out of the fresh loaves of bread and did not replenish them."
