Despite some of the other negative reviews we read about staff being rude and dismissive, we did not encounter any of that. From check in to check out, everyone was very kind and accommodating. Our room was clean with great views and housekeeping made sure we always had fresh towels and our trash was taken out every day. Beware however there are no microwaves so don’t plan on being able to eat leftovers (or make popcorn or mac n cheese if you have little kids lol). Cannot beat the location though, right in the middle of Times Square. My only complaint is there are 2 restaurants (technically three if you count the very fancy rotating one on the top of the hotel The View) but the other two (Broadway Lounge and Revel & Rye) have the exact same menu so not really two restaurants in my opinion. Food was very ok and not very much variety. Also very expensive but honestly it’s expensive everywhere around there. Overall a great place and I would stay again.

Room could have been much cleaner. Restaurant was very unorganized. I wanted a coffee to go, server realized no one had restocked the to go cups. Wanted to pay with cash, server realized there was no money in cash register. Second day, server didn't know how to make coffee. At dinner, there were only a few things to eat from the whole menu because someone forgot to put in the order for restocking of food. Hotel charged my credit card $130 for no reason on top of the $400 hold for two rooms after arriving. Very disorganized. Wont stay there again. Good location/access to other things.

NYC is expensive so 500 a night is the going rate for a decent hotel. We chose this place because its was close to our daughter’s apartment. Again not bad and 20 minutes walking distance to Penn station. Room is a bit small but well decorated and very clean.

Check in is very simple using the keypads around the property. Warning - sometimes even after putting in your pin it’ll mark it as incorrect and you’ll have to put your pin in multiple times but it will eventually work. You’ll only see staff at 11am cleaning the rooms otherwise you’re on your own. It’s very straight forward and it some ways much easier than I normal hotel. The walls aren’t perfect and the rug could be cleaner but overall cost/return is very good.
