"This is far from a 4* hotel. The property is VERY run down and so many things are broken. It needs urgent repairs but nobody seems to be bothered. Staff at check in were not bothered at all, take it or leave it attitude. The doorman/porter was the only nice person. Check-in was at 2pm I arrived at 5pm waited for a hour and my room was still not ready. After 2 hours still nothing but nobody was bothered, so I went elsewhere. Overall worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in "

"They have two nice pools. Although we have used only seaside and beach. Not enough and old sunbeds. They have a shower on the beach side. Experienced, helpful and kind staff. They have let me to call airline due to sudden situation. Thanks a lot for it. We have waited a bit long for the dinner after ordering in the restaurant and at the end one of the order was forgotten. They have said sorry. So assuming it was just incidental. Recommended. "

"Very excellent property with both river and ocean view. Located at close proximity to Bentota beach. Excellent customer service with courteous staff members. Special mention to the Chef Mr. Sunny Mehta who made sure we are served authentic cuisines especially for my senior aged parents. Thanks to the team and a very strong recommendation to anyone who is visiting bentota"

"Staff not very friendly. The bed was not up to the mark. Amenities are sparse. No iron and ironing board in the room. Overall pretty average "

"Clean rooms, friendly staff and a beautiful setting made our stay very pleasant. The food was good but lacked the local influence - propbably because the hotel caters mostly to German tourists. Despite being on the beach we opted to spend time at other baches as the ocean water directly at the hotel was not clean."
