"Right across the river from the Musée de la Bande Dessinée! Requires a bit of an uphill hike to get to the center of town but there are also easy nearby bus stops to take you there. Service was fantastic, breakfast was tasty and the hotel is pretty neat. No AC though."

"Love where the property is situated. We were only in Angouleme for 1 evening but could easily access many restaurants in quaint cobbled streets with live music and a lovely atmosphere.
