"An Unforgettable Coastal Getaway with Breathtaking Views and Exceptional Hospitality! ❤️🌊 Our stay at the Wharf Master's Inn was absolutely amazing! We originally booked just one night, but we fell in love with this beautiful place so much that we decided to extend our stay for an additional night. One day simply wasn't enough! Sometimes you find a place that makes you want to slow down, stay a little longer, and enjoy every moment, and this was definitely one of those places. The location is absolutely breathtaking, but the outstanding view from the balcony was truly something special! Sitting there, taking in the beautiful ocean scenery, and enjoying the peaceful coastal atmosphere was such a relaxing and memorable experience. And let's talk about the jacuzzi! 🛁 It was the perfect way to unwind and make our stay even more special. To make the experience even better, we discovered the Epsom salt bubble bath from the gift shop, which was such a wonderful touch! A relaxing jacuzzi, lovely bubbles, and the beautiful atmosphere made for the perfect little escape. These thoughtful details really added something extra to our stay. I especially want to give a huge thank-you to Karen, our wonderful host! She was absolutely amazing, answering every question we had and going above and beyond to help us, even taking extra time not to forget the staff &the perfect breakfast hank you, Karen, and the entire Wharf Master's Inn team, for making our stay so wonderfulExceptional Hospitality"

"I did not like the breakfast. The waffles were something like a red velvet cake, the eggs were cold, the sausage was undesireable. However, the room was large and clean and the bed and sheets were very comfortable."

"This is our first time staying at his property. We stated many properties in Ukiah. This is maybe the best property we have had the opportunity to stay. The room was large clean. The hotel was extremely maintained. Staff was amazing and we've got cookies when we checked in. Location was perfect. Definitely will return"

"The property was excellent. The rooms were spacious, the bed was comfortable and the shower pressure outstanding. My husband and I were very disappointed however with the breakfast provided. There was very little choice - and only carbohydrates - cereal, bread, waffles, bagels and english muffins. Only bananas as the fruit. There was juice available, which we did not drink. There was no protein available to eat....yogurt, or hard cooked eggs would have been perfect. Both my husband and I are diabetic and need something besides carbohydrates for breakfast. His blood sugar went through the roof after he ate (the high 200's). Please consider providing protein with your breakfast offerings."

"This is one of my favorite places to stay. Lovely, charming, unhurried with beautiful architecture and grounds. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was exactly as I recall it being roughly 12 years ago - spacious, lovingly decorated, attentive details everywhere with luxurious, high quality furnishings. The Madrones is a welcome respite in Anderson Valley and great home base for local wine tasting. The restaurant was still as cozy and intimate as I remembered, with simple but carefully crafted dishes. The dining courtyard could not be more charming. The ambiance is unbeatable at The Madrones and our experience was overwhelmingly positive. (There were a couple of minor areas of improvement: the tv wasn't properly working - but staff provided a half bottle of wine to make up for this - and the large blinds and bathroom ceiling could use dusting/cobweb removal.) All else was spotless and well maintained. I would return again and again and highly recommend The Madrones."
