"This was a unique property where the little touches made a difference. Towel heater, bathroom floor heating and room were all turned on and warm before we got there. Very spacious and kitchen well stocked. Very nice coffee provided."

"Location of this hotel is central with walking distance to restaurants and supermarket. Hotel room is clean and fairly good value. Staff is nice and helpful. However, Invercargill is too depressing in winter. Will never come again "

"The room was very cleaned and spacious. We even had an in-room washer and dryer! That is very impressive. We didn’t choose breakfast because it was too expensive and we didn’t want big breakfast. But there are a lot of breakfast options nearby. There is a small problem of the shower in our room. The floor seems lower on the other side. The shower is half open (no door). Once water comes out, the entire bathroom floor, including the carpet right outside of the door, is wet. The next day, we were extremely careful when using the shower and it was OK. "

"It pains me to write this review as I will be giving away a little gem hidden in the South of NZ. And I would like to be able to reserve a room next time that I am in town.. I stayed at this wonderful establishment for two nights during a business trip. This is a waterhole away from the everyday stress, complete with fireplace, deep bathtub and wonderful breakfast with homemade bread, expertly prepared to order by the inhouse chef. I would strongly recommend this for anyone staying overnight in the region. Especially recommended for a couple wanting some RnR. Five Star+!"
