"A room with standard amenities (microwave, fridge, hairdryer, etc.), The was an iron, but no ironing board. A comfortable bed. Plenty of hot water. Set back from Hwy 59, making it convenient for travel access. Close to a well-patronized local cafe, and to an excellent Mexican restaurant."

"I was traveling with my son on a college visit, the room was clean, the customer service was terrible, my card was charged twice for the room and when I notified the young lady at the front desk she was very rude, she had a attitude with me and it was my card that was charged twice, no management at the property to get it resolved, I had to insist she call management, terrible experience the rest of my stay the lady at from desk she kept rolling her eyes and staring me down, I definitely will never go back to this hotel, terrible experience, very disappointed, poor customer service! "At first glance, it looks like what you pay for. However, we stayed 5 nights and experienced some unsettling things.
Our refrigerator died over the span of 2 days before we figured out where the vomit smell was coming from. They were accommodating and brought a new one right away. But not before we searched for what had "died" in our room for 2 days.
The smell of Curry was in the air every evening.
When we put signs on the door to "let us sleep", we were still bothered for our trash and towels.
I witnessed one of the times they came in to clean, the cleaning lady scrubbed the toilet with a toilet brush, and then walked right to our sink and scrubbed the inside of our sink with the same toilet brush. She also threw it on the ground in our bathroom, from right out of the toilet, and left a large germ-infested puddle in the middle of the bath.
Our kids swam in the pool for 2 days, but on days 3 and 4 of our stay, it was shut down for "maintenance". The water had turned green, and it was obvious that the pH balance was unhealthy.
The windows were not safe. They could open and close from the top two floors, and the screens were not secured correctly to be safe from an infant's fall.
Our kids' feet were black each night, after they had walked around the room barefoot.
I would not recommend this property to anyone.

"The hot tub and pool was not woeking when we arrived it was gross no sign up stating it was closed the next day the hot tub was running but after seeing it the day before i wouldnt step foot in it. The breakfast was nonexistent we went to McDonald's its okay for a fast sleep and leave situation "
"We were in Garnett, KS for a ghost hunt at a Historical House not too far away. Check in was easy. When we got back to the hotel around 3am the hotel was quiet with several commercial vehicles (construction, railroad, electric, etc...) in the parking lot. Seems it is the go-to for traveling work. I never heard any of the commercial vehicles leave but the parking lot was fairly empty by the time we were up and around.
The shower was hot and had good pressure. The towels were thicker than what I am used to in small town hotels.
The man who checked me in the day before, noticed me as we were loading up the car and asked about the stay and if everything was satisfactory. I was happy to say it was... We did miss the breakfast by sleeping in late. But during check in, I had been told there was breakfast available until 9am.
Garnett doesn't seem to have a lot of restaurant options in town. But there is a grocery store and a Dollar General."
