I always look forward to visiting the Grand Palace

I have stayed at the Grand Hotel Palace many times since it first opened. It is always unfailingly first class. It is clean, comfortable and the staff are wonderful. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant are excellent and again, the staff are really wonderful.

A mix of modern and classic. Very cozy and beautiful place. It is very clean and everywhere you are it smells like flowers. The housekeeping does a very good job and the entire staff is very friendly!!! Very high standard property!

This property is fantastic. The room was lovely, overlooking the port. Windows in the main room and the bathroom afforded great views. The extra touches were great. Bottled water, snacks, coffee and tea,nice bathroom products, all made the stay so pleasant. We ate dinner in the dining room. Delicious meal and attentive staff. I’d like to give a shout out to the front desk staff, fabulous. We will certainly stay here again

Great hotel. We had a room opposite the ferry terminal, when the windows were closed dead quiet. Bed, bedding was of great quality. Big bathroom, good strong shower. Very clean. Breakfast was varied with many options. Mini bar with water,juice etc as gifts. We had cycles & they were secure in hotel garage.

The hotel is located in the port area of Ancona. It is a great spot to watch cruise ships and fairy boats come in and out of the port. There are many churches, which a few have a spectacular view. We were able to walk around much of the town and visit the open air market they had on Saturday. The staff of the hotel was very friendly and accommodating and helpful. The entire hotel looks fresh well done and was very comfortable. The only thing we had a negative on was how hard the bed was ha ha. I would highly recommend this on any trip to Italy to go to the Adriatic and stay here.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful room with picturesque view of sea, port, and ancient buildings. It's very close to characteristic eateries where the speciality is fish and sea foods. It's close to a number of Romanesque and middle ages landmarks. To the risk of sounding stereotypical I'll write that this is a little gem in a city which also is a little gem by miracle/chance out of the itineraries of that mass tourism that is destroying Italy.
