Convenient to all the Escalante trails and walking distance to the 4th West pub! Easy in and out to Scenic hy 12. One of the USA best scenic drives between Esc' and Boulder! **Tent campers might/will hear people walking on the gravel to the bathroom."

"We really enjoyed our stay here as we explored the property. The guest ranch and our bedroom were nicely decorated in a western style. The Great Room had wonderful views and a friendly atmosphere; great for quiet moments or chatting with other guests. The artwork was really creative and eclectic. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. Hope to visit again."

"This is an older motel. It seems to me that they are remodeling it. Our room just had the basics, which is not a complaint. It totally served its purpose-we hiked all day, ate dinner, and just slept there. Beds were comfy. Towels and linens were clean. Room was clean. No complaints. Just know you are getting an older, no frills, but fully functioning, hotel. Location was within walking distance of several restaurants and a grocery store. Didn't actually see any staff during our visit. "

"Check in was super easy. We loved the room and the kitchen. They had a game room the kids enjoyed. Breakfast at the restaurant was fabulous. We also were able to do laundry. "Very nice newish lodge located in the heart of Escalante allowing great access to all the gorgeous hiking areas. Spacious room with microwave and mini fridge. Loved the laminated activity directory to help us organize our hikes and sightseeing. I would absolutely go back! "
