"We had a fantastic stay at Rivendell Apartments! The place itself is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. A special thank you to Nick, who was an amazing host from start to finish. He made our check-in smooth and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, even going the extra mile to provide us with an extra duvet and a fan heater when we needed them. The restaurant was also a highlight—absolutely delicious food! The moussaka in particular was outstanding, one of the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. "The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a great size and was clean. It only had instant coffee in the room and my husband was disappointed with that, but not a huge deal. Now the only real complaint was there was a sewer smell both inside the building and outside in the beach area. It came and went, so at least it wasn’t a constant. We never asked about it, but someone had mentioned that it is common. It didn’t ruin our stay, but worth noting as it is a bit off putting. The breakfast buffet was lovely. There was definitely something for everyone and if not, you are just too picky. We booked a private tour through the hotel, as it was most convenient for us. Katarina was our tour guide and to say she went above and beyond would be an understatement! She had places she wanted us to see and in doing so, went over her allotted time. You don’t find that very often. We loved the location of the hotel, as it was close to many restaurants and some shops too. Our stay was great and our time on Corfu was wonderful. "

"This was an ok stay. Main thing was that the bathroom is the smallest I’ve ever experienced. You couldn’t move around in the shower without touching the walls so showering was hard work and not pleasant. Luckily I was only there for one night. "

"Apart from a misleading description regarding breakfast, bar and food availability it was good. The booking information, advert and hotel photos showed all services in operation. As it was, none of these were open. Breakfast was just a box of pastries and sandwich and this needed to be ordered the day before. No bottled water or any beverages were provided and only coffee made by the staff. Despite these inaccuracies and their lack, I enjoyed my time there, mostly due to the small but dedicated staff who tried their best to make my stay satisfying. It's such a shame as a completely fitted commercial kitchen, cutlery, crockery, dining room, breakfast room and breakfast bar, bar and well stocked library and lounge were to a very high standard. They just weren't stocked with any food or drink. The room was spotlessly clean and came complete with a new working fridge, ac, TV and shower/toilet, fresh linen provided as/when required and very comfy beds, which were remade daily. Outside there was a bar, bbq, oven and a beautiful large immaculate swimming pool, 20 sunbeds with table and parasol, clean pathways and cut grassy areas, the pool was checked and dosed daily. The shame is that with slightly more support, food and drink plus slightly more staff, this hotel would be an absolute cracker. Location, peaceful, relaxing, beautifully appointed beyond it's 2 star rating. I hope that the owner crews it up and provisions it to allow this little gem to shine. Change the advertising. "
