"One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at in a very long time. Staff went above and beyond with very classy touches like wet towels and pomegranate juice served on arrival while you checked in. Hotel is in a great location near Amir Temur square. Rooms are incredibly new and clean and the shower was outstanding. This is the only hotel I would stay at on a return to Tashkent! "

"Hotel Uzbekistan may need a little TLC to bring it back to its original grandeur, but as it is we have no complains at all. Location is central and easy accessible from TAS airport, the Amir Temur metro station is right downstairs and it was very convenient for getting around the city. We were on the 15th floor and the room was absolutely quiet at night. The 4 roomy elevators worked fine. We had a small balcony and the room itself was larger than your average modern hotel room. The King size bed was a bit firm but comfy and the black out drapes were nice too. There was a sitting area by the entrance of the room with 2 arm chairs, a table and a lamp. Also a desk with a chair, a mini fridge with water bottles provided every day. There was also an electric kettle, cups and tea bags. There was plenty of storage, a big wardrobe and a chest drawer. Housekeeping cleaned the room everyday quickly and we would find it tidied up when we were back mid afternoon. Toiletries and slippers were provided. The buffet breakfast was varied, delicious and plentiful. My vegetarian husband had many options to choose from every morning. The bar had good service and a variety of drinks at fair prices. It was very pleasant to stop by for a cold beer after doing walking tours all day. All in all, we were very happy with our stay at hotel Uzbekistan, the staff was helpful, friendly and polite. Everyone spoke really good English. We would definitely stay there again."

"Nice hotel, centrally located, short walk to the metro. The room was sparkly clean. The only area of improvement is the slow elevator. Other than that, everything was great."

"I’ve stayed in this hotel twice, first for 15 days, and now second week — and each time I’ve been impressed. The staff are consistently friendly, welcoming, and go out of their way to make sure every guest feels comfortable. The rooms are spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect, with easy access to [local attractions / transportation / restaurants], yet the hotel still feels peaceful and quiet. Marine is the best! After two visits, I can confidently say this is my go-to place whenever I’m in the area. Highly recommended! "

"The bad 1) Reception never responded to my request for a pick-up before arrival 2) Room's carpet had blood stains on it 3) Room smelled like a sewer when I first entered 4) Breakfast food is horrendous. Staff are rude. They stand around and giggle, no customer service. 5) pool area needs a lot of remodelling. also needs staff available to service guests. The good 1) Location 2) Laundry/pressing staff are very nice "
