"It was overall okay, except I did not like the breakfast as much as the other Van der Valk Hotel Park Lane, but they had great options for lunch and dinner."

"It was an overall great experience, very friendly staff, comfortable abd charming room, quite spacious, with everything in it to feel at home after a long travel; nice home-made dinner and a variety for breakfast. Picturesque surrounding, a walking distance to Arcen where there is a lot to see and experience. Very recommendable!"

"Alles sauber, bis auf die Matratze die war voll mit Fusseln die man leider durch die Laken gespürt hat. Das war nicht angenehm da es sehr dicke Kugeln waren."

"Enjoyed meal at the restaurant and great sauna with ice bath"

"Breakfast great and nice place"

"Great staff good breakfast very good locatation"

"The surroundings are maybe not what you expect from an idyllic establishment, nevertheless our stay was more than pleasant and we did feel very welcome. The hotel is near Kaldenkirchen’s train station and the usual grocery stores, the city’s centre is on walking distance. The amenities were more than you’ll expect from a two star hotel, free drinks including beer, coffee and soda’s. We stayed here on transit to the Ruhrgebied, and experienced plenty of room for us and our bicycles."

"The pool area was excellent, even for those with children. Everything was clean, breakfast has lots to choose from and staff were all helpful."

"Small but had everything I needed. Really nice staff and good location. "

"Simply one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Gorgeous location and gardens, spacious, well maintained accommodation and such friendly hosts. I have only good things to say about this property. "

"Room was very clean, the staff were friendly. Very good breakfast."
