"Lovely property well maintained in a remote location. Sadly the pool wasn’t in operation during our stay but that did not detract. We were allocated the pool house so unable to comment on the main house. Owners are friendly, welcoming and eager to please. The village of Darnius is quaint but very much a one-horse town (unfortunately someone has stolen the horse). If it’s tranquility you are after, you will find it here."

"We stayed at this hotel because my husbands brother was getting married there. It was a lovely little oasis in a tiny village with beautiful surroundings. The staff were wonderful and very friendly and helpful. The only tiny bug was that breakfast was not served until 9am which meant that you couldn't even get a cup of coffee until then. Overall it was a very comfy stay and we would go again (now we know where we can coffee earlier!)"

"We stayed for 4 nights over the Easter weekend, watching the motorcycle trial in Sant Joan de les Abadesses and sight seeing in the process. I had been here once before for an afternoon and was very impressed and vowed to return. We had a room with tremendous views and the facilities were pristine.
