"Stayed with friends for three days to explore the region. A nice place for a stopover. with a good breakfast and nice resturant . Ideal location for both Tours , the Loire valley wine and chateaux. Our only negatives were coffee at breakfast ( dissapointing and out of a machine , ) and the TV which was not WIFI connected so no netflix or streaming . Other than that it was quiet and convienent with plenty of parking ( with secure barrier at night)"

"Hotel has a great location close to restaurants, shops the Loire River, Chateau Royale d'Amboise and Chateau du Clos Luce. On-site parking was convenient. Our room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Staff was friendly and efficient and most helpful with restaurant recommendations and reservations. I highly recommend La Maison Rabelais."

"Funky, characterful boutique hotel very close to Gare de Tours – and the Tourism Centre where guides meet you for tours of chateaux and all the sights of the Loire Valley. The hotel is a bit quirky but very well maintained with excellent, friendly and helpful staff. From the outside, the hotel doesn’t look like much. The charm is all inside. And it is charming. My room was quiet, comfortable and large enough for my needs. The bed was very comfortable. The blackout curtains create a nice dark space for worry free sleeps. I would definitely recommend and would stay again if I return to Tours."

"Reasonably prices hotel about a mile from Amboise centre. Good for a night or two stay. The rooms are functional and clean. They serve breakfast and there are a couple of vending machines. Parking is safe and secure."

"Lovely hotel, I asked for a room with access to the garden as I had a dog, it was a lower ground floor room with a door to go out but surrounded with a railing so you can’t go out. Other than that very clean and comfortable."

"Hotel looked pretty new and clean. You beed a car to access the town but is just 5 mins driving. Staff was AMAZING, a shout out to the guy that was at night and got a fan for us because in most hotels in France air conditioning dies not work until it’s officially summer. Breakfast was very good!"
