Such a Delightful Find!

Staying with Mark and Sarah in their immaculate, cute, comfortable, romantic and downright enchanting little place in the Apennines outside of Ascoli Piceno was one of the highlights of our trip. What can I tell you? The setting is beautiful, they're fantastic -- we had some time to spend with them that evening before we struck out for dinner in one of the excellent, modest locals' restaurants in the towns nearby -- and we feel nothing but fortunate that we stumbled upon this hidden jewel as we did. I would love to stay there again sometime and, with a little luck, perhaps we will. If this is anywhere near your travel route and you're thinking of detouring for a night in the mountains, go for it. You will most definitely be glad you did. Promise. :)
