"Great place to stay overlooking the ocean and a few steps to the beach. Our room had a kitchen with a full sized fridge, stove/ oven, and dishwasher. The bed was comfortable with nice linen. It's a few minutes drive to Montauk town with restaurants and shops. The large pool is nice and having a service where the staff will set you up on the beach with lounge chairs, umbrellas and towels is a plus."
"The property is very nice, quiet, and quaint. We stayed the night to head out on a fishing charter at 4am, and the location is literally walking distance. The room and property are very clean, and being greeted by very friendly staff was great after a long drive. The beds were comfortable, linens crisp and clean. The ceiling in the bath was a bit dated, but did not take away from a very comfortable stay. I booked through Expedia and the rate was the lowest in the area, and well worth the stay. And, beautiful friendly dogs greeted us. If we go back to Montauk, we will definitely check for rooms here first. Highly recommend."
"To celebrate my daughter's college graduation she and her friends planned a trip to montauk to check out camp hero. Which is nearby. They got the bigger suite. After 2 people dropped out. They still wanted to go. And when they arrived they fell in love with the place. The staff was accommodating and pleasant. Very clean and loved the privacy the property offered. The kitchen was useful. Plenty to do and eat nearby. And the heated pool saved the day. She raved about the scenery and trip to the lighthouse area. She is definitely going back. And her mother and I intend to stay here as well. My daughter stressed the cleanliness. And location was perfect."
"Wonderful, cozy clean rooms! Parking was on site and beach steps away. We made use of the beach chairs and food was a short walk. This motel was better than it's competitor on the beach and costs less. Remodeled rooms were AMAZING!"
"They advertised sound proof rooms. Not happening
They advertised well stocked mini bar not happening
There are pictures indicating a dining room Not happening
They make no indication you can get coffee in the ad we brought coffee and find out there is coffee in the lobby
In the room was a long bench that stuck out. I stubbed my toe on it, it hurt.
It is wood and a piece sticks out that is wood. You can't see it and very little room to get by. I had to move it to another part of the room. or a visit to the hospital. they need to fix that.
The soap in the shower is in a little bottle and very hard to use and not enough.
My wife brought soap so we were ok.
The people there are very congenial and that is good. the first night it was 50 degrees out side and the heater in the room didn't work.
Nice location and no matter what I or others write, they will get customers."
