The hotel is located very close to the train station, approximately 7-minute walk. The hotel has a nice Biergarten and a restaurant indoors.

Decent hotel for a night
Hotel was acceptable, but difficult to get reception to check in. Breakfast was good, but our room was sparse & cramped because there was a sauna in the bathroom. While this was interesting, I'd rather have had more room. Overall I'd say it was a good value for the money.

Excellent Hotel
The hotel is cozy,good decorated rooms with central location, free WiFi, sumptuous breakfast buffet, friendly staff, cheap traditional meals and has its own chapel, swimming pool, Sauna and massage. Mr Plankl was very friendly and helpful. Excellent hotel. Will surely come back. Danke Schön!

Typical old style hotel in small town
The Plankl is a charming old style hotel just a block from most tourist attractions (pilgrim chapel, art museum, shops.) It serves a generous breakfast buffet and has a lovely outdoor area. My low overall rating was influenced by the following: 1. we stayed two nights and the room was not made up after the first; 2. Our room was very noisy from people partying on the patio late into the night. We had to close the window - and that by unusually hot temperatures (hotel has no air conditioning). There were no restrictions on how late people could carry on. 3. No personal attention - may have been due to a very large group staying there at the same time.

Niemals 8,8 Punkte. Ganzes Hotel ( Zimmer , Bad und Möbel) aus den 80 zigern . Mein Zimmer ( Themenzimmer 76 € ) war muffig und das ganze Zimmer schreit förmlich nach einer Renovierung.
