"Breakfast and lunch here were both delicious. The staff are lovely and it’s very laid back. Our second time staying here and we will definitely return. Our room, Merlot, was fabulous with a sunny terrace. I would highly recommend."

"Perfect place to stay with equally and easy walking distance to the lovely sea front and beach but also to the charming historical city. Plenty of good eateries and bars nearby as well as other amenities.
The beds are super comfortable, the aircon is quiet and the en-suite bathrooms are in excellent condition to provide for your comfort.
Although the reception desk is not open 24 hrs the helpful friendly and attentive staff are always easily contacted via WhatsApp."

"The service (Stephanie and others) was outstanding! They made us feel welcome from the moments we walked in the door. The welcome glass of cava was a lovely surprise. We sat on the rooftop terrace one afternoon and felt quite spoiled when the delivered wine to us even though we were quite happy to carry it ourselves. We felt quite spoiled! The room was clean and lovely and the bed and pillows were extremely comfy. We will definitely return next year. A wonderful time in Altea!

"Rooms were large. Breakfast was great, however, for a 5 star hotel, not having a proper coffee machine in the room (powdered coffee and kettle provided, breakfast starts at 8 am) is not acceptable. Furthrmore, wifi in the rooms was so weak and poor, could not log in (had to go to reception to do so), and then could not upload normal apps like IG. Hotel reception were aware of this problem, so ongoing for a while. Also could not watch Netflix on iPad. TVs in the room are not smart TVs, not good enough for a 5 star hotel. Staff were all friendly and pleasant though. Would not stay here again. "
