Durchgelegene Betten, Wasserrohrbruch und alles ein bisschen schmuddelig. Das Personal ist zwar super freundlich und versucht zu helfen, solange aber nicht großflächig modernisiert wird, kann ich den Campingplatz nicht empfehlen.

Worst experience ever! Do not stay here.
This place was so bad it should be shut down. First, it is poorly marked and hard to find. Upon check in, I was given a key to the room and 5 cards for identification purposes. I was told that every member of our party needed to carry their card on them at all times. I thought this was odd, especially because I have 3 children. One of the kids lost their card (almost immediately), to which I found out there is a 25 EURO charge for every lost card. I believe this card thing is a scam to make more money. Also, we went out for dinner the night of our stay only to return to a closed gate. The gate had a number on it to call. When I called the number it was out of service. There was a group of what looked like kids standing around smoking on the other side of the gate. I called them over to see if someone could help. Turned out they worked for the hotel. They watched as we struggled with 3 tired kids at a closed gate smoking and laughing and didn't think to help. The next morning, we wanted to grab coffee before heading to the airport, but the cafe was closed all day - it was a Wednesday! I travel regularly and this was by far the worst experience from a hotel I have ever had. Unfortunately my family will have this as their last experience in Portugal, which was an otherwise fantastic trip.

Thank you for staying with us. We regret to be informed that you didn’t appreciate the experience. There was an anounce on the bar door informing to be closed on Wednesdays, sorry for that. We clarify that the campsite gate closes during the night, from 11 p.m. till 7 a.m. for security reasons and to respect the silence time. The gate had a number on it to call, it’s a portuguese number, tested and working in good order and of course the persons you refer to that were inside when you arrived were not part of our staff. Please note Orbitur Costa de Caparica or any other Orbitur site is well marked on google maps and GPS systems, apart from having orientation signs on the road (but it happens that there are several campsites nearby). Very sorry not to have met your expectations.

As it was almost winter and this camping is close to the beach, it's cheaper than most hotels and even hostels. Good choice if you want to stay with your family in a quiet and bucolic place close - half an hour - to Lisbon (but at the other side of a toll bridge) and has a car. We stayed at a 2 bed bungalow with kitchen - you can cook your own meals. Water took more than two hours to heat as the boiler was turned off - I guess almost nobody stays here at this time of year. Friendly staff. Simple place.

The location under the pine trees is great, and within a short walk of a beautiful beach. The bungalow was a little in need of minor repair though we were there right at the end of the season.

It would be a great place for a family with kids, not so great for two couples. The rooms where very small, and the beds not very comfy. We arrived pretty late so the restaurant was closed, and there was not many in the neighbour hood. Great beach near by.

Cosy bungalow great for family with small children
We had an enjoyable time at Orbitur. It was really handy for our children as it was very close to the beach. The amenities were great and food at the restaurant was delicious. Costa de Caparica is a lovely sunny place and close to Lisbon. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we definitely recommend it. It

Friendly but a bit in need of attention.
Door lock didn't work & sewerage was blocked but both were fixed immediately when notified. Toilet seat was broken. All other facilities were good, service was excellent.

Het park is netjes onderhouden. De chalet was vochtig. De jaloezie in de keuken zat vol vet en het 2 pitsfornuis is geheel verroest. Ik denk dat het in het hoog seizoen een betere plek is als in maart. het personeel aan de receptie toonde geen interesse.

Très beau chalet
Le chalet est très beau et bien situé dans le parc. Il est en hauteur, ce qui fait qu'on a une belle vue sur les montagnes et l'océan. Nous sommes allés en juin et c'était très tranquille. Un bel avantage.

Le camping Costa de Caparica se trouve pas sur les montagnes et non plus près de la ville de Lagos (ça serait le cas de Orbitur Valverde). Dans votre attente, bien cordialement.

Bättre än väntat
Vi bodde I en stuga på campingen och stugan var större än vad vi hade trott. Det bästa var servicen, den prisvärda maten samt att det fanns gott om lekkamrater till barnen på campingen. Däremot var wifitäckningen dålig i stugan.

Camping close to the beach
The camping hasn't the typical camping atmosphere, beacause there're more local people that stay there for more months than tourists. The security persons at the exit, didn't recognize me and asked always the camping badge. After 11pm the camping is closed and you need to call for entrance. The supermarket is too small and not cheap at all. Even though the security persons, someone has stolen our dresses from clotheshorse just out of bungalow.

Il campeggio è bello, tutto in pineta. Poco distante dalle spiagge di Caparica. Il posto auto è all'ombra ed è dirimpetto ai bungalow. Il personale è gentile. Si entra con l'auto solo fino alle 23:00. Oltre questa ora si trova il cancello sbarrato e la guardia notturna ti apre, ma devi lasciare l'auto alla reception, dopodiché la puoi tornare a prendere il giorno dopo. I bungalow hanno alcuni limiti, soprattutto per gli spazi. Noi eravamo in cinque e devo ammettere che non si stava per niente comodi: il tavolo in veranda è di quelli bianchi in plastica da 4 persone, quindi non c'era verso di potersi sedere in cinque. Le camere sono piccolissime, giusto lo spazio per dormire. Nessun posto dove riporre valige (nemmeno sotto il letto). Praticamente nelle camere non ci si muove. Calcolate un letto matrimoniale e spazio oltre il letto di circa 40 cm. La camera con i letti a castello non possiede prese di corrente, per cui se dovete caricare il cellulare, fate senza. Il bagno è diviso in due parti: gabinetto senza bidet e doccia con boiler. Il soggiorno è insieme alla cucina che dispone solo di due piastre a corrente per la cottura. Niente forno. Per quello che riguarda i servizi, tutto come ce lo immaginavamo con un'unica pecca: ristoro e bar chiudono abbastanza presto (credo di ricordare alle 21:00). In un posto di mare chiudere il bar alle 21 significa praticamente dire alla clientela che non la si vuole. Il Wi-Fi raggiunge solo alcuni bungalow nei pressi della reception.
