"We decided to do a last minute, one night “staycation” from Denver and didn’t want to spend a million dollars. Found this place in Keystone and thought it could go either way but omg we LOVED this Lodge! There is a river right behind the rooms that was wonderful to walk both in the evening and morning. It was on a small pond and sitting outside with a cocktail was so nice. I’m always reading reviews to see how the bedding is and the mattresses and pillows were perfect!! Room was clean and amenities were great. They had 2 water jugs already filled and waiting in our rooms, so we didn’t have to pay for bottles, which I appreciated.
What I have to say that I liked the most was the way they had pet stays organized. We brought our older guy and they had all of the dog friendly rooms on the bottom floor with quick patio access to the outside. As someone who doesn’t love listening to other peoples dogs bark in a hotel room, i felt this was so kind to all the other guests without pets. Bonus- We didn’t notice any barking dogs! I will DEFINITELY stay here again, and for a longer stay next time for sure!!!"
