"This was our 2nd time staying in this beautiful place. Amazing helpful friendly staff who went out of their way to look after us. Its Quiet and Peaceful. It's hidden away in a tranquil bush setting with views of the Hunter Valley. Australian wildlife roam freely around including Kangaroos, Rabbits , Beautiful birds and other wildlife. The mineral baths and facilities are awesome and the cypress lakes golf club is just down the round with awesome food and amazing staff. We will definitely be staying again very soon.❤️🇳🇿"

"Room clean but lots of bugs around. Outside sitting area unkept and unclean Dining room under staffed Breakfast good Spa surrounded by dead flies and only half the jets working Asked to use less towels etc but nowhere to hang them to dry properly … including spa towels .. and hand towels, bathers etc"

"Harrigans is a great place to stay. Good food, good undercover parking, friendly and convenient. However the accommodation is tired and needs a fair bit of maintenance. Shower old and door came of runners, sink cracked and stained, carpet old. Bed very comfortable. Check in is now managed at the Mercure hotel. Will definitely stay again as it suits us well. We have stayed here many times"

"Great location and very central to everything. A nice cafe on site with great food and really friendly staff. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even though we didn’t have in-house housekeeping each day, they offered clean towels, pool towels, dishwashing liquid etc, so we never ran short. There was a great pool which was nice and warm with a cover over one end to protect you from the sun. All in all a great place to stay. Would be a 10/10 with just a little bit of extra maintenance here and there, eg little things like the sliding door to our apartment needs to be made a little easier to open and close."

"We stayed two nights in a three-bedroom villa with two young kids and their grandparents. We are sensitive to cleaning chemicals but none of us had any reaction, no smell, so we could fully relax at the villa. The waterpark and the bigger pool were amazing, entertained our kids all the time, literally almost all day. We could spot some warrabies in the property, which was a good bonus. The breakfast buffet was also great, especially the egg kitchen. No salad at the time I stayed but a good variety of fresh juices and fruits. Only my disappointment was that some tissues floated in the “adult only” pool, and it was not cleared on the next day also…"
