"Beautiful Village,Hotel was well situated and had a good car park and Grounds. Staff on arrival were friendly and helpful.The Bar was small but comfy.The room was adequate and a large bathroom. "Very friendly welcome, comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. But what Hotels.com doesn't tell you is that it's a business hotel and the restaurant is only open Monday - Thursday. Hotel closes early so there is no where comfortable to sit when you return. By early I mean at 7:30pm on the Saturday it was closed at which point you have to use the night entrance. The bathroom was great, good shower an accessible wet room, but it also included the wardrobe ????? The bed was too high at 90cm+ (I measured it) and I had to use a stool to climb into bed. No natural light in bedrooms due to overgrown bushes outside. So I'd say ok for a 1 night stay Monday - Thursday."
