"The first room we got assigned had no towels, a dirty shower and missed pillow cases. The reception said that housekeeping couldn’t come back to clean and we were assigned another room. It appeared that it was cleaned but the airconditioning wasn’t working in this room. This property is old, not maintained (leaking air conditioning in the hallways) or cleaned (dirty carpets) . "We had a wonderful stay here. The gardens are beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast in the gorgeous solarium. We also took advantage of the warm weather and had drinks in the courtyard/ garden. Our host helped us with last minute dinner reservations and both restaurants were fabulous! We never would have found them on our own. Next time, we would book a larger room. We had a standard double room. It had everything we needed but we could have used more space."
